Grineer

Vast in numbers, the Grineer have expanded their vile empire from Earth outward to all sectors of the solar system. Once the Grineer rediscovered cloning technology, they seized control of Earth through sheer numbers. While they may be at the height of power, the Grineer army is in bodily decay and their features are increasingly primitive as a result of continuous cloning. As such, the Grineer are forced to use technology as a crutch for their genetic deterioration. An ideology of hate and discrimination towards the Tenno continues to drive the Grineer forward in the face of inevitable dissolution.

Corrosive

Corrosive is a Damage modifier that inflicts heavy damage to armored targets (enemies with yellow health). It will only effect medium to light armored targets and heavier armors targets take half the damage from this modifier, making this damage typ very effective against swarms of lighter to medium armored grineer. To get the corrosive damage type on a weapon, combine the two elements of Electricity and Poison and you get Corrosive. Though just know that the stronger the elemental mod(s), the stronger the Total damage for corrosive will be. Do make note that Corrosive is very effective if on melee weapons rather than on primary and secondary due to the fact that with what melee you're useing, is main damage type (I.E Nikana's main damage type being slash and Fragor being impact) of a weapon combined with corrosive will make your melee the Grineer's nightmare. focusing this damage type on melee is also better because you'd want to use other type mods to make your guns much better for what damage type they focus on rather than wasting mod space on your primary and secondary for an elemental damage. Corrosive is mostly effective for Grineer do to them being focused on armor as opposed to Corpus who focus on shields. Thus making this damage element the Grineer's weakness instead of Corpus since it has little effect on Corpus targets.

Puncture

Puncture Damage is a Damage type that make armored targets more vulnerable to attacks by giving them a status effect which will cause them to deal 30% less damage for 6 seconds. It is more effective against grineer and less as effective toward Corpus. Combining Puncture and Corrosive will make your weapons deadly. To make your weapons more deadly toward the 3 main enemy factions (Grineer, Corpus, Infested) i would highly recommend making 3 builds for each of your top tier weapons. build A, B, and C can be any of the three damage types in any order. I.E Hek being Puncture, adding corrosive and puncture mods will make it deadly against grineer as well as having a secondary that could be Impact for Corpus with Impact and Magnetic, and a Melee with Slash and Gas damage for the Infested. Having this type of setup would be a perfect balance to face off against each enemy type. but this type of style will be explained in a different part of the "Tips" section (Not up yet but will be added in the future)
