Nikana Crit Build
About:
Nikana is a tenno designed weapon that resembles a lot like the famous Japanese Katana Sword. This weapon can have any build but this build focuses primarily on Critical damage. Do note that this build isn't as effective as the Venka crit build, but it still gets the job done pretty efficiently.

Make note that the mods in this build and others for this weapon are obtainable either via trade or hardcore farming methods. These builds also work for the Dragon nikana and the Nikana prime.
​
Nikana prime is your best choice to get due to it's polarities but may require 1 forma or more to get the best build. you can also get the other versions just for the mastery rank but i highly recommend using the Nikana Prime due to the higher stats it yields.

Note: To get the nikana you have to be mastery rank 4 to buy it or build it. To get the blueprint for the Nikana you have to be in a clan to get it. To get the dragon nikana you can get the Blueprint in the tenno market (in the orbiter) but it requires the regular nikana to craft for it is the better version. Organ Shatter
Pressure Point (primed if obtained): This will help increase your overall melee damage you can just use the regular Pressure point, but i recommend using it's Primed form and maxing it out.

Fury (Primed if obtained): Will help you swing this blade much faster which is essential for this weapon due to it's slower swing speed.
​
Spoiled Strike: this may lower your attack speed by 50% but combined with fury (Primed increases it 25% more), the attack speed won't matter since you'll be dealing 100% more damage with this mod.
​
Drifting Contact: This allows your combo window to stay open longer than normal, to get combo you must deal damage to the enemy to build it up.
​
Buzz kill: Pretty self explanatory in the mod itself. This adds 120% more Slash damage when maxed. (to get this you must buy it from Baro Ki'teer or trade for it since this was once an event mod)

Jagged Edge: Also pretty self explanatory within the mod, this adds 90% more Slash damage when maxed. (you can just find this as a drop from Corpus Elite Crewman or by trading) this helps give the damage a little extra muscle allowing extra damage to slightly higher leveled enemies.

Blood Rush: When maxed, this mod allows 165% (135% if level 8 out of 10) crit chance to be stacked per combo multiplier increase (1x to 2x to 3x NOT 1.2x to 1.5x to 1.7x.). This mod is crucial if you want guaranteed 100% to 165% extra crit chance every time your combo window goes from the average number 1x to 2x and so forth. Once Blood Rush procs you'll get guaranteed crits every time.

Organ Shatter: This mod basically adds 90% more crit damage to your base giving you a total of 3.8x crit multiplier. Now, unlike the Venka Prime claws (Which have a higher based crit multiplier than the Nikana/Dragon Nikana/Prime Nikana) the Nikana has a base crit multiplier of 2.0x versus the base crit multiplier of the Venka Prime Which has 2.5x.
