Rare Resources
Rare Resources are your everyday material, just like Uncommon and common resources. These resources are used in many but not all blueprints and research projects. You can find these materials from most planetoid areas in warframe. These materials can be dropped from Lockers, Basic enemies, Bosses, and resource box of that specific material (I.E Salvage in salvage piles, rubedo in rubedo clusters, Etc.). Alternatively you may buy such resources from the market using platinum but not all can be found in the market. These resource types can be dropped in quantities of 2 to 3.

this is an Orokin Cell box

Argon Crystal
Argon crystal is a resource that is found in only one place that has the element "Argon". This is the only resource that has an expiration timer, so collecting these before finding blueprints with Argon as the requirement is pointless. It is highly recommended to collect these AFTER you get blueprints with argon as it's requirement. These can be found 1 material at a time.
Note: Please refer to the main resource page for details on effectively farming more resources in one run.

Control Module
Control Modules are essential to a lot of blueprint recipes and Clan research projects alongside other rare quality resources. This resource may be found in quantities of 1 to 3. This Resource can also be found on 3 planets.
Planets: Neptune, Europa, Void

Gallium is a rare resource commonly used in crafting heavy melee weapons. This resource can be found in multiple ways. You may find these in Gallium deposits at 3 planets, Tyl Regor and Lech Kril instead of standard enemies, and rarely from tactical alerts. Tyl and Kril both drop 2-3 of these.

Planets: Mars, Uranus

Morphics are your average everyday resource primarily use to craft Forma. It's a special alloy that (as the name implies) is morphable. (It's mighty Morphics time!) This material can be dropped in quantities of 1 from it's own resource deposit, but with Nekros's desecrate you can find more after killing Captain Vor, The Sergeant, and Ambulas. Morphics is a most common material used in most Warframe component recipes and most Melee recipes.
Planets: Mercury, Mars, Pluto, Europa, Phobos

Neural Sensors are a resource generally used in Neuroptic blueprints, and few weapons. Like other rares, this one can be dropped in quantities of 1. Alad V also has a high chance of dropping Neural Sensors thus making him a number one spot to farming these precious pieces of tech. Tactical alerts also may have Neural Sensors as a reward.

Planets: Jupiter, Europa (Raptor only), Kuva Fortress

Neurodes are your bread and butter for many crafting recipes. They are heavily used in Warframe recipes and minorly used in Weapon recipes. They are also used in Forma and Orokin reactor recipes. In addition to finding the cluster to break and collect 1 Neurode, tactical alerts can also have this material as a completion reward.

Planets: Earth, Lua, Eris, Orokin Derelict

Orokin cells are like candy, you want it really really bad. This resource is the key component to making Forma, Orokin Reactor, Orokin Catalyst, and Prime versions of Weapons and Warframes. You can find these from random deposits around a tileset as well as all bosses INCLUDING Stalker. Though General Sargas Ruk and Lieutenant Lech Kril have a much higher chance of dropping more than 1 of them.
